I am originally from Michigan. I graduated from Medical School at the University of New Mexico in 1987, and completed my Internship at the University of Minnesota in 1988. After completing my residency in 1991, I became Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and I’ve been in practice since 1992. During my medical school rotation in OB/GYN, I fell in love with delivering babies and performing surgery. It was unexpected because I was not planning on being an OB/GYN. I also like the primary care aspect of OB/GYN.
I believe in preventative medicine and encouraging patients to take ownership of their health and wellbeing. Keeping patients healthy but treating them when illness does arise. I also enjoy helping patients through all stages of their lives and treating patients of all ages.
I love to travel all over the world and photograph my adventures! I stay active with fly fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. I find joy in spending time outdoors with my family and friends.
