Morgan Wolfe, Jr.

I was born in West Texas but raised primarily in South Louisiana bayou-land outside of New Orleans. From there I attended college at Georgia Tech in Atlanta and received a biomedical engineering undergraduate degree. I then completed 8 years of training for medical school and residency at Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO where I had the fortune of training with many of the leaders in the field and developing modern minimally invasive surgical techniques.

I originally fell in love with and decided to pursue medicine while I was working at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta during college. During medical school, women’s health became an instant passion through experiences working on labor and delivery and working with organizations for women’s reproductive health and rights. Finally, the surgical expertise of gynecology sealed my decision to become an OBGYN. My philosophy of care centers around providing patient autonomy and compassionate education to help women make the best decisions for themselves and their families.

My patients inspire me to continue developing my passions for obstetrics care, contraception, surgery, and reproductive rights. OBGYNs have the privilege of caring for women thorough all stages of their lives and allows us the special opportunity to build lasting relationships while watching families grow.

Outside of work I enjoy tennis, yoga, running, hiking, and cycling. I have been an avid tennis player since childhood and have run several marathons and triathlons through college and medical school. Residency brought me the joys of yoga and maintaining both physical and emotional balance in all aspects of life. Most importantly, I treasure time spent with my family, friends, and my giant schnoodle.  I’m excited to now be in Colorado and take advantage of the awesome culture and activities that the mountains provide! I plan to learn how to ski like a true Coloradoan.
